Visit the Catedral and La Giralda

Sevilla Capital, Sevilla
From 22€

Activity description

Created with the aim of being one of the largest churches in the world, the Cathedral of Seville is the largest Gothic temple in the world. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987 and in 2010 a Site of Outstanding Universal Value.

Also, during the Renaissance period, a series of annexes to the Gothic temple were rebuilt, such as the Sacristy, the Chapter House and the Royal Chapel. Also during this period, the last part of the Giralda, 104 meters high and completely visible from a large part of the city, was built by Hernán Ruíz. To which, in the sixteenth century, was added the body of bells with a statue at the end representing faith, known as "el Giraldillo", as it is a weathervane.

This visit will reveal to the attendees all the historical and cultural information about the Cathedral of Seville. Accompanied by an official guide, they will be introduced in each of the different areas and cultural stages that make up the monument. And you will get even closer to the Almohad and Christian civilizations that were testimonies of Seville.

Includes: Guide and entrance fee (Cathedral).
