Activity description

Carmona, famous for being a medieval village and for its archaeological discoveries from Roman times, is part of a half-day excursion that is perfect for exploring Spain's ancient towns. Andalusian in character and owner of a great monumental heritage, Carmona, has more than 4,000 years old and is listed as the first archaeological site in Spain open to the public.

It hides tombs as peculiar as the elephant tomb or the mausoleum of Seville, which the guide will show visitors. In this tour, you will discover the main monuments of the town of Seville. Cultures such as the Carthaginians, the Romans, the Muslims and, the last ones, the Christians, have left an important mark in every corner of its streets. The route will take customers from the Alcázar de la Puerta de Sevilla to La Puerta de Córdoba and the Alcázar del Rey Don Pedro, currently converted into a Parador.

In addition, you will walk through the old part of the city, through its narrow streets, typical of an Andalusian village, discovering the numerous Mudejar temples and convents, as well as the various viewpoints towards the Vega de Carmona.

Included in the excursion:

  • Professional guide.
  • Guided tour of the historic centre of Carmona.
  • Access to the Necropolis.
