Tropical Route: Avocado and Mango Farm

We will travel along the coast until we reach our destination, a beautiful avocado and mango plantation overlooking the Mediterranean.

On this two-hour tour, you’ll learn all about the subtropical fruits grown in our region, from how they’re grown and when they’re in season right through to how they end up on your plate. 

The experience will round off with a tasting of some of these delicious fruits, accompanied by a delicious, healthy picnic featuring mangoes, avocados and other local produce, whilst you take in the exotic scenery and views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Excursion itinerary

• Pick-up by the guide to go to the farm.
• Guided tour of the farm, with a picnic of mangoes, avocados, and other local products.
• Then we will head to the TROPS fruit cooperative. TROPS is the largest mango and avocado cooperative in Europe.
• Finally, we will head back to the meeting point.

 Recommendations

• It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes. 
• If you are prone to motion sickness, we recommend that you take an anti-motion sickness pill beforehand. 
• It is recommended to bring a bottle of water. 
• If the visit is during the hot months, it is recommended to use sunscreen.
