An essential route that will take us to the most iconic places in Madrid, where history and current events are connected.
We will start from the famous Almudena Cathedral and the Royal Palace.
We will continue our way to the famous Puerta del Sol to get to know the true heart of the city. Then, through the Madrid of the Austrias to the Plaza Mayor. Here we will visit the small streets and oldest corners of Madrid with centuries worth of history: the old Town Hall, the Plaza de la Villa, and the oldest churches in Madrid.
Then we will immerse ourselves in the picturesque Barrio de las Letras where we will find treasures such as the House of Cervantes and we will explore its corners full of anecdotes. Then, on towards the Plaza de Santa Ana to remember the Romantic Madrid of the 19th century.
Finally we will head towards the Carrera de San Jerónimo to see the famous Congress of Deputies, the Fountain of Neptune, and the Ritz and Palace hotels. The tour will end on the Paseo del Prado where we will finish our tour of just over an hour next to the famous Prado Museum.
