BIOPARC Fuengirola

Fuengirola, Málaga
From 12€

Activity description

Respect for nature and the preservation of species is the new concept and model that BIOPARC is implementing and which is a benchmark at European level.

Through tropical forests, the design of the park is highlighted with its architectural design called zoo-immersion, making the visitor experience being in the animal's habitat.

It is considered a new format of animal parks of the 21st century with the objectives of awareness, conservation and animal welfare.

The zoo currently houses 200 different species in recreations of their natural habitat, which favours their development and care, 40 of which are in danger of extinction.

Some of the animals at Bioparc are the Komodo dragon, Edward's pheasant, the black lemur and the Bornean orangutan. The western lowland gorilla will be born in Bioparc in 2019.
