Discover the magical white coastal villages of Vejer and Conil on this guided tour.
Itinerary:
- After pick-up, we will head inland to visit Vejer de la Frontera. On our walking tour, we will discover why this town, one of the most picturesque white villages in Andalusia, is included in the prestigious list of Spain's most beautiful villages.
- We will tour the historic center of Vejer to learn about its Arab
and Christian past, a fusion of cultures that can still be appreciated as we stroll through its whitewashed streets.
- We will pass through the ornate Plaza de España on our way to the walls of Vejer, a remnant of the ancient disputes between the Andalusian territories and the Christian kingdoms.
- After learning about how these medieval conflicts unfolded, we will return to the bus. We will then visit the white town of Conil de la Frontera, known for its impressive beaches and tuna cuisine. We will see places such as La Chanca, an ancient defensive building for tuna fishing, and the Tower of Guzmán el Bueno, built on a hill to provide the best view of the entire coast.
- At around 1:30 p.m., we will begin our return journey to the various pick-up points.
