Caminito del Rey with a French-speaking guide

Travel from the Costa del Sol to one of the province’s top tourist attractions, where you’ll explore the famous Gaitanes Gorge from a unique vantage point, taking in the incredible views of the local scenery.

Itinerary:

We begin our adventure with a comfortable pickup on the Costa del Sol. We travel through the Guadalhorce Valley and the Malaga countryside until we reach Carratraca—famous since Roman times for its hot springs—and make a brief 30-minute stop in Ardales, where a complimentary drink is included.

From there, we venture into the spectacular natural setting of the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes, home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, until we reach the famous Caminito del Rey.

We walk about 8 kilometers through one of Spain’s most breathtaking landscapes, following the walls of the gorge and crossing suspension walkways that rise nearly 100 meters above the Guadalhorce River. Built in the early 20th century and named after King Alfonso XIII’s visit in 1921, the Caminito was restored and reopened in 2015. In June 2026, a spectacular 110-meter suspension bridge—the longest of its kind in Spain—was also added.

During the tour, our guide shares stories, interesting facts, and secrets about the area, while we enjoy incredible views and have time to take unforgettable photos.

At the end of the tour, there will be a brief stop at the recreation area, where you’ll find restrooms, souvenir shops, and food and drink stands. At the scheduled time, your guide will meet you there to escort you back to the bus and return you to your destinations.

• Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes early.
• We recommend bringing a snack and a drink—usually 1 L of water—with you for the activity.
