Join us on a guided tour of the amazing Seville, the capital of Andalusia. You will explore its picturesque neighbourhoods, discover its charming streets, squares, markets and churches, and of course, enjoy the authentic tapas bars that are so characteristic of the city.
Itinerary:
- We will start our adventure in the green lung of Seville, the Maria Luisa Park, home for more than 3,500 trees.
- Our next stop will be the majestic Plaza de España, an impressive structure built between 1924 and 1928.
- We will continue our tour through the charming Barrio de Santa Cruz, the old Jewish quarter of Seville. Here we will lose ourselves among its narrow streets and beautiful squares full of charm.
- At lunchtime, we will stop at a cosy tapas bar, where we can savour some of the region's most traditional delicacies.
- We will arrive at the Plaza del Triunfo, located in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage triangle. This place is home to three impressive treasures: the Real Alcázar, a former Muslim royal palace; the Archivo de Indias, and, of course, the majestic Gothic Cathedral. The jewel of the square is the imposing Giralda, the cathedral's bell tower, named after the weathervane that crowns its peak.
- We will head towards the Plaza San Salvador, where the imposing church of the same name is located. From there, we continue towards the city's main shopping streets, such as Calle Sierpes and Calle Tetúan.
- We walk along the promenade by the river until we reach the Torre del Oro, from where we head towards the Puerta de Jerez.
- As the finishing touch to our tour of Seville, we cross the former Royal Tobacco Factory, a place steeped in history. Today, this emblematic building is part of the University of Seville, a testimony to the city's industrial past.
