Cadiz is considered the oldest city in the West and in its streets we find remains of each of the civilisations that have settled here.
We will begin the visit, next to the Town Hall, in the Plaza San Juan de Dios, from where we will enter the Barrio del Pópulo, an old medieval walled quarter that in little more than 1 km2 concentrates an important part of the city's heritage. Accessing from the Arco de la Rosa, we will be able to see the Casa del Almirante, the Roman Theatre, Callejón del Duende and the big sister of the New Cathedral, the Santa Cruz Parish Church, built on the site of the old mosque of the city, nowadays, the Old Cathedral of Cádiz.
We will continue our walk making a stop at the main temple of the city, the Cathedral of Cadiz and we will conclude the tour in the area of the Plaza de las Flores, next to the Central Market of Abasto, which contains a gastronomic corner, where you can rest and taste some of the tapas of the gastronomy of Cadiz.
